After being through a lot of disappointments, rejections and heartbreaks, we tend to build high and thick walls to save ourselves from going back to that same life circumstances we keep on running from. At the long run, we thought we became more empowered and wiser, or let’s say..better? Claiming that we’re okay, that we’ve already moved on, that things are perfectly happy and fine.
Are you just like those cool girls raising their middle fingers and glass of wines at the middle of the night, walking on the street, wearing those fake mask just to show that they are happily contented and completely moved on from the pain that totally change them.
Keep in mind that your not alone, that you can rock it and make through it! For the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10) and I can assure you that things will get better, that through Him nothing is impossible(Matthew 19:26). I’ve been there and now I am a living testimony, and someday you’ll also be.
I’ve reach the point of giving up, to end my life, thinking it would be the best way to end things over. But you know what? “it is okay not to be okay”, That it is okay to feel every piece of ache, guilt and grief, for He knows it, He feels everything, just call upon His name and trust His way and have that FAITH, for the Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14). He made you and that He loves you.
